AnnotationThis report on the housing needs of older people results from the Social Justice and Regeneration Committee's decision to participate in the debate begun in "Strategy for older people in Wales" (Welsh Assembly, 2003). It reviews and makes recommendations on current provision of housing for older people in Wales, and what is required to allow existing older residents to remain in their own homes. It also considers specialised housing care and provision (principally sheltered housing), and the housing needs of people with dementia. The report is in English and Welsh. (RH).
