Annotation | This fable explores the theological, spiritual and pastoral questions that are involved with the care of Alzheimer's patients. A pilgrim figure, Japac, comes upon a village where people with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and their caregivers come when their own home communities are no longer safe for them. The fable draws upon current research and dialogue about the social, ecclesiastical and spiritual implications of Alzheimer's disease. (KJ/RH). |
