Annotation | The Association of Charity Officers (ACO) has been supporting the Consumers Association in a "super-complaint" about the care home sector. This pamphlet outlines the response from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT), and the debate which this has prompted in Parliament. It notes the activity of a small working group within the Social Policy Ageing Information Network (SPAIN) in following up matters regarding problems in finding and funding care. This paper updates members on progress since the ACO March 2004 paper, noting gathering interest in the super-complaint, the need for case examples and the ACO view. (KJ/RH). |
