| Annotation | Overcoming discrimination and stereotypes is essential if the sexual health needs of older people and black Africans are to be catered for. The author reviews research on the sexual lives of heterosexual and gay older people, their lifestyles and risk-taking behaviours associated with HIV and AIDS. Social workers should have some awareness of the subject of sexuality and the sexual health concerns of their older clients. (RH). |
