Annotation | By looking at the progress of primary care trusts (PCTs), we can gauge how the care trust model might be adopted and whether it will prove successful. This article includes a review of the National Tracker Survey conducted by the National Primary Care Research and Development Centre at the University of Manchester and the King's Fund. The survey and two other articles which consider the relationship between primary care groups and local authorities all seem to demonstrate the ambiguous nature of combined trusts. (RH). |
