AnnotationDementia in older people from minority ethnic backgrounds, intermediate care, and ethical questions on the involvement of dementia sufferers are some of the recent subjects of studies on older people. This review of twelve papers reflects the wide-range of research topics on ageing that is being published, and their relevance to implementation of the National Service Framework for Older People (NSF). Other subjects covered are the consistency of home care services; older people assessed as most need of care but are refused it; housing and older people's views; social care outcomes and how these are thought through; and age discrimination in access to health and social care. )RH).
