Annotation | This briefing paper summarises progress to date of work commissioned by the Social Services Inspectorate (SSI) to identify how the findings of good practice, identified by Kingston University and Deloitte and Touche could be embedded into professional social work practice. This will enable uses of the service to know what to expect from social workers and social care workers and provide a benchmark for good practice. The framework used is the Public Audit's quality agenda of: improving quality for uses of service; encouraging best practice and value for money. This project was divided into two phases between January and December 1999. (KJ). |
