Annotation | This briefing note explains how those in residential or nursing homes are being treated differently in the application of Pension Credit than older people living elsewhere. NPC believes that all care home residents should be awarded the full amount of Pension Credit to which they are entitled, in the same way as all other pension holders of qualifying age and income living outside a care home.
