AnnotationThis is a re-examination of how older people are faring in regeneration in 2003, following a report in 2000 called "Overlooked and excluded". It updates understanding on how older people benefit from and are involved in regeneration in their communities, and identifies policy and practice themes where progress has been made or challenges still remain. The report presents examples of projects and activities illustrating key themes, and concludes that older people have benefited from their inclusion in such work. The report makes recommendations to government, regional bodies, local strategic partnerships, and older people's organisations. (RH).
