AnnotationThis publication contains information on the take-up of the main income-related benefits in Great Britain in financial year 2001/2002. Income Support, Minimum Income Guarantee, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit are those benefits measured and most pertaining to the needs of people aged 60 and over. Take-up is measured in two ways: by expenditure and by caseload. This survey only covers people in private households and draws most of its data from the Family Resources Survey (FRS) and DWP benefit records. (KJ).
