Annotation | This investigation examined selected internal psychometric properties of the Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status (RBANS; Randolph, 1998) in a sample of 631 geriatric patients with no documented or reported history of central nervous system dysfunction. Consistent with previous findings, results revealed a high degree of internal reliability consistency in the measure. Similar to data obtained from analyses of the normative sample, index score intercorrelations were found to range from .25 to .79, with the overall pattern suggesting that indices do indeed assess relatively distinct neurocognitive constructs. Results provide evidence supporting the internal psychometric validity and reliability of the RBANS. (KJ/RH). |
