Annotation | Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in the NHS is more widespread than people realise, and doctors are becoming interested in access through primary care. This document contains draft guidance that has emerged through a consensus building process and research activities undertaken by the University of Westminster's clinical governance for CAM project, funded by the Department of Health (DH) and the King's Fund. A series of seminars was held at the King's Fund in 2003, to encourage learning about CG and the NHS modernisation agenda. Some of the draft guidelines are based on issues raised by the seminar series. (RH). |
