| Annotation | South West Dorset Primary Care Trust (PCT) has been allocated funding since 1999/2000 to promote a prevention of falls programme. The author, as falls adviser, describes how the assessment of pre- and post-intervention outcome measures helped to prove the project's effectiveness, and enabling older people to maintain their independence.
