AnnotationRehabilitation services designed with the older person in mind have become established in the last 30 years in the UK. Recent government policy - notably the National Service Framework for Older People (NSF) - has further developed and shaped such services. The authors examine the nature of rehabilitation nursing for older people and its definitions over time in this literature review. They suggest that there is potential for nurses to specialise in this area of work. (RH).
