AnnotationThis bulletin presents for the first time statistics on the experiences of home care users aged 65 or over of personal social services in England. A survey was conducted of users' experiences by councils who sent a questionnaire consisting of four compulsory questions and performance indicators were calculated for each question. A total of 87,000 valid responses were received from clients - an overall response rate of 61%. The general result showed that white respondents were generally more satisfied with the home care they receive than black and minority ethnic respondents. (KJ).
