AnnotationAlzheimer Scotland is the leading specialist dementia charity in Scotland and works to improve the lives of everyone affected by dementia. There are 61,000 people with dementia in Scotland, and as the population ages this number is expected to rise significantly. Most of their services are paid for by local authorities and health boards, but the organisation does require funds to be raised for their Information and Helpline Services, training for carers, campaigning activities and some specialist services. This product under review will help towards raising such funds. It charts a variety of activities to celebrate Alzheimer Scotland's tenth anniversary. (KJ).
