AnnotationThe successful development of a specialist support team in a nursing home has helped to improve the nursing care given to older people. The article includes an outline of a pilot study using the Minimum Data Set/Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS/RAI), to determine whether MDS/RAI would facilitate monitoring the quality of assessments in connection with the support team's work.
