| Annotation | This toolkit has been developed by Lynda Tarpey of CareandHealth; members of the Workforce Development Working Group of Topss London were also involved. The aim is to help organisations of all sizes to develop their workforce plans. The toolkit begins with guidance on what an organisation needs to think about, where it is starting from, and the factors to be considered in its plan. The second section is an action planning tool, which asks questions and is a guide to the areas previously discussed. Examples of data forms, the layout of a workforce plan and a completed plan suggest how workforce information should be collected and the type of summary document that needs to be produced. The last section lists information sources, including some examples of good practice in workforce planning. (RH). |
