Annotation | Many older people suffer from loss of mobility and independence due to poor foot care. However, many of the common conditions of the foot that are encountered in this patient group are simple and not time-consuming to treat. The author describes the common footcare problems seen in older people. He gives guidance how to treat them successfully, and highlights how attention to the older person's feet can prevent long-term problems. (RH). |
