AnnotationThe multi-disciplinary team is fundamental to health professionals caring for older people. Therefore, learning of an interprofessional nature could have an important role to play in ensuring multiprofessional team work. The authors discuss the pros and cons of single professional training versus interprofessional learning and how and when to use it. If properly planned and implemented, interprofessional education (IPE) is a useful method of training. (RH).
