Annotation | Commentators have highlighted the growing political and research interest in user involvement, with particular reference to social policy. This paper describes the Sheffield-based Older Women's Lives and Voices (OWLV) project, the aim of which was to find out about the experiences of women aged 50+ from a range of ethnic groups, with a particular focus on the services that they (would like to) use and the idea of having a say. The paper focuses on the practicalities of setting up and carrying out the research, though implications for the process of policy-making are also highlighted. (RH). |
