Annotation | This special edition of Quality in Ageing comprises papers presented at the "Planting Seeds for the Future" conference, held in Sheffield, which explored the creation of research partnerships with older people, their carers and researchers. The conference allowed older people and their carers to share their experiences of being involved in health and social care research, with the aim of developing recommendations for good research practice. An editorial summarises feedback from group work at the conference, in which the main benefits, negative consequences and enabling factors for involvement in research were discussed. (RH). |
