Annotation | Whereas Health service circular HSC 2001/015 defines continuing care across a range of services, this response notes that the definition in the Continuing Care (National Health Service Responsibilities) Directions 2003 is 'care provided over an extended period of time'. Age Concern England (ACE) expresses concern with the wording and with omissions from the Directions regarding the nature of assessment. (RH). |
