Annotation | For Age Concern England, the Delayed Discharges (Continuing Care) Directions 2003 go some way to answering concerns regarding whether or not the National Health Service (NHS) should remain responsible for funding in full the cost of a care home, where this was not properly considered at the time of discharge and no record kept of any decision. ACE suggests clarifications to the Directions with regard to their commencement, application and interpretation, and with regard to the duties of NHS bodies. (RH). |
