Annotation | Robinson Ward provides continuing care for people with dementia at Mile End Hospital (East London and the City Mental Health NHS Trust), and serves the socio-economically deprived Tower Hamlets catchment area. The ward team report on their audit of the amount of time per day that each resident was involved in therapeutic, psychologically-oriented activities. While the aim of the audit was to draw attention to the need for more staff, the result was more optimal use of staff time, without the need for increased staffing levels. (RH). |
