AnnotationThese newsletters update the Older Women's Lives and Voices (OWLV) Project, which began in January 2000 and ran until April 2002. The Project was funded by the Economic Social Research Council (ESRC) under its Growing Older (GO) programme. The project directors were Lorna Warren (University of Sheffield) and Tony Maltby (University of Birmingham). The aim of the research is to increase knowledge and awareness of issues which affect the quality of life of older women from different ethnic communities, and their desire and ability to have a say in the services that are available to them.
