Annotation | According to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the recommended daily intake of water is between 6 and 8 glasses of water or other fluid. This report summarises the results of answers from care homes about their provision of water to residents, whether they had a policy on water consumption (or its inclusion in care plans), and whether they had received advice or guidance on how to manage client hydration. Also reported are additional comments on answers to individual survey questions. (RH). |
