AnnotationThe conference, held in Sheffield, was designed so that delegates could discuss their experiences and learn from each other. This report outlines the themes emerging from the conference, and the discussions from five workshops: working with diverse communities; mentoring and volunteering; learning for a career change; citizenship and empowerment (social cohesion); and learning in care settings. Three older learners also shared their own experiences with regard to NIACE's Older and Bolder theme. (RH).
