Annotation323 Australian memory clinic patients were assessed with two dementia screening instruments. A combination of an informant report (the short form of the Informant Questionnaire on Cognitive Decline in the Elderly - IQ code) and a direct screen (the Mini-Mental Status Examination - MMSE) performed better than the informant report alone, but no better than the direct screen alone. (RH).
