Annotation | In the Netherlands, out-patients with subdued memory impairment, mostly suffering from a dementing illness, wish to be informed of their diagnosis, therefore should not be automatically considered incompetent. These were the findings of a study based on a survey of 51 consecutive outpatients referred to a Dutch memory clinic and their accompanying relatives. (RH). |
