AnnotationHelp the Aged is in the early stages of developing a programme to identify the best ways of delivering housing advice to older people. This briefing paper was originally prepared to inform an initial meeting in London on 22 May 2002, recommendations of which are summarised in Appendix 1. The paper uses the following sources: a short survey of national advice, housing and older people's organisations carried out in April 2002; a brief review of previous research reports on older people and housing advice; and a summary of relevant current government and other initiatives.
