Annotation | Road safety in relation to the driver with dementia is an emotive and contentious topic which can present carers and healthcare professionals with difficult decisions. The article considers factors influencing risk and its management and minimising strategies. Cognitive and psychomotor tests for assessing driving are described briefly.
