AnnotationAs well as reporting on the Inspectorate's work and progress, each report lists Chief Inspector letters (prefix CI), SSI publications, and relevant Department of Health (DoH) Local authority circulars (prefix LAC) and Local authority social services letters (prefix LASSL) for the year under review. The report illustrates regional highlights and provides information about the year under review activities of the SSI. The lst to 7th reports were priced publications, distributed by the Stationery Office; but the 8th report onward are Department of Health publications. The 12th annual report (2002/03) is the last produced by the SSI as the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) will take over its functions and responsibilities.
