Annotation | It is now more than two years since the single assessment process (SAP) was announced as part of the National Service Framework for Older People (NSF). The SAP is intended to help local agencies simplify health and social care assessments for older people. However, as the deadline for implementation (1 April 2004) approaches, many authorities are still confused over the government's guidance and funding. (RH). |
