Author(s)Dave Pulsford
Journal titleJournal of Dementia Care, vol 11, no 4, July/August 2003
Pagespp 27-29
KeywordsDementia ; Personnel ; University education.
AnnotationAlthough many higher education institutions (HEIs) offer some education in dementia care, provision is patchy and fragmented. Moreover, many qualified professionals working in the field have had little dementia-specific education since qualifying. The author and his colleagues review current provision of higher education for professionals in dementia care, and suggest a curriculum and directions for its future development. (RH).
