Annotation | There is a high proportion of older people living in Finsbury, compared to Islington as a whole and most of them have lived in the area for many years. In November 1995, the Cripplegate Foundation arranged a conference to bring agencies and individuals together to look at ways that all the resources available in the area are used to the greatest benefit of local residents. It was decided to consult the local older people themselves, to find out how they saw services and their priorities. This report presents the findings based on in-depth interviews, discussion groups and a self-completion questionnaire. (KJ/RH). |
