AnnotationThis is a summary of "Simplicity, security and choice: working and saving for retirement: action on occupational pensions" (Cm 5835). More than 800 responses were submitted following the December 2002 Green Paper "Simplicity, security, and choice: working and saving for retirement" (Cm 5677). The summary outlines the steps the Government will be taking to reform occupational pensions (including setting up the Pensions Commission): improving member protection; making pension provision easier for employers; and choice for all - planning for retirement. Versions of this summary are also available in Braille, large print, audiocassette, and Welsh. (RH).
