Annotation | The image of older people as a problem or burden in health care is widely held. This negative image has wide implications that affect the way in which health treatments and services are delivered. While such attitudes are being challenged, the older people themselves must be involved in the processes of helping to develop the services that they themselves will use, and which will be for the benefit their children and grandchildren.
