Annotation | These multi-agency adult protection procedures were put in place by Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire following the "No Secrets" guidance from the Department of Health (DH) launched in October 2001. This manual was acquired by CPA as part of a DH commission, to analyse such codes of practice for the protection of vulnerable adults (POVA) produced by English local authorities. The findings were not made available by the DH as a report, but a summary of them appears as an article in the Action on Elder Abuse bulletin, Action Points, issue 16, 2003. (KJ/RH). |
