They report on a study of joint commissioning in two London Boroughs, two county councils, and two unitary authorities in southern England, being conducted by the Personal Social Services Research Unit (PSSRU) at the London School of Economics (LSE). Their particular focus is on intermediate care, and how integration with existing health and social service provision might be achieved. (RH).
