Annotation | Diabetes mellitus (DM) is highly prevalent and increasing in people aged 65+, particularly among racial and ethnic minorities. The purpose of this guideline is to improve the care of older people with DM, by providing a set of evidence-based recommendations that include DM-specific recommendations specifically for people aged 65+ with DM, and recommendations for screening and detection of geriatric syndromes.
