AnnotationAn Australia-wide cross-sectional survey, in which 213 residents' family members provided data for testing and refinement of a model, was used to identify key predictors of their older relatives' well-being. Family members' well-being was predicted by their physical health, pressures from competing commitments, and residents' adjustment. Interventions should thus target those residents at risk of poor well-being. (RH).
