AnnotationThis report contains 145 statistical tables, covering the range of topics of the 2001 Census for England and Wales as a whole. Standard tables provide a cross-tabulation for two or more Census variables, and include tables on: long-term limiting illness (S016-S024); provision of unpaid care (S025-S027); and communal establishments (S125-S128), S161). Other tables about older people include themed tables T05 All people aged 50 and over; T06 Pensioner households, and T09 Communal establishment residents; and supplementary tables UV45 Tenure of pensioners, and UV70 Communal establishments. Comparisons with the 1991 Census must be treated with caution, because of differences in definitions and information used; and also because results of the 2001 Census have also been adjusted, to account for under-enumeration, an allowance not made in previous Censuses.
