Annotation | In May 2001, the Department of Health (DH) and the Active Community Unit of the Home Office awarded Help the Aged £688,000 to develop an intermediate care programme for older people. This article describes progress on the development of seven partnership projects, linking voluntary sector services to NHS-led or local authority-led intermediate care services first reported in Working with Older People in March 2002.
