| Annotation | This work was commissioned as one of a number of follow-ups to "Quality and choice for older people's housing: a strategic framework" (Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions - DETR and DH, 2001). The document provides a framework for producing a Strategy using a sample template. Under each template heading are ingredients that should be incorporated into a strategy. These are based on an actual housing strategy, "Accommodation strategy for older people in Liverpool - August 2001", and also takes account of a range of other strategies that have been examined as part of the background work for this guidance.
