Annotation | The Assembly was organised so that older Londoners could raise concerns that affect their lives. This report records the key messages from the event, which was organised in partnership with the London Older People's Strategies Group (LOPSG) and sponsored by Anchor Trust. The themes discussed were culture, housing, transport, poverty, health, and the draft London Plan. The session "Making ends meet", chaired by Jack Jones, comprised a presentation by Maxine Whetstone, who summarised the findings of her Centre for Policy on Ageing (CPA) research report, "Hard times: a study of pensioner poverty".
