Annotation | The Regulation of Care Services Award (RCSA) is awarded by the General Social Care Council (GSCC) to develop competency in health and social care regulations, and is based on occupational standards applicable to a wide range of inspectors. The Award derives from the UK approved "National occupational standards for regulators of health and social care for adults and children" developed by the National Training Organisations in health and social care (TOPSS and Healthwork UK). This consultation invites stakeholders in the regulation of health and social care to respond to proposals for a National Advisory Group to assist the Programme Partnership - in which Anglia Polytechnic University (APU) has contributed to regulatory education - and to comment on the development and proposals for the Programme.
