AnnotationIn 1994, the Department of Social Security (DSS) commissioned Social and Community Planning Research (SCPR) to undertake a programme of research examining women's pension provision and the factors that influence women's pension decisions. This summary outlines SCPR's findings, including factors concerning the potential for building up pension rights, and income expectations in retirement. It also looks at findings on divorce and the treatment of pension rights.
