AnnotationKey statistics for all topics in the 2001 Census are provided for a range of administrative areas in England and Wales: all local authorities (including abolished counties), the nine English regions, and the National Parks. Where results have been published in a similar format, totals are given for England and Wales (separately and together), also for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the UK. The report presents statistics for some 375 Census variables in 32 tables. The following will be of particular interest: KS502 Age structure; KS508 Health and provision of unpaid care; KS509 (a-c) Economic activity (covers ages 16-75); and KS323 Communal establishment residents. A small selection of thematic maps cover topics such as people aged 75+, and limiting long-term illness. (RH).
