AnnotationHaringey Council, the Metropolitan Police in Haringey, Haringey Teaching Primary Care Trust, the London Probation area, and Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust have agreed to work in partnership to protect vulnerable adults from neglect, abuse or harm. The policies and procedures in this document have been developed locally from national guidance issued in "No secrets" (Department of Health, 2000). The roles and responsibilities of agencies involved in the prevention of abuse are defined. Two versions of this document have been produced: a bigger A4 version for those who may be involved in investigating alleged incidents of abuse; and a smaller A5 summary for those who may come across abuse and need to know what to do and whom to tell.
